Summer of Service Kickoff

Last weekend was the official start to our "Summer of Service" Projects. Volunteers met up in the fellowship hall at 10:00 AM Sunday morning & enjoyed a lovely brunch, followed by instructions and a prayer to guide us through our day. The volunteers were then split into two groups & handed cleaning supplies. With squeegies in hand we traveled to our destinations. Helping our own church members in need of a little assistance, Mrs. Buela Peterson & Sister Hazel Knight welcomed us into their homes and as we left we ourselves were blessed by the simple task of lending a helping hand!

Falling In Love With Jesus

If you didn't come to church last sabbath, I am sorry to inform you that you missed out! The praise team & band rehearsed late into Friday night, putting finishing touches on their praise set for the next morning and it was well worth it! People stood to their feet as God spoke through the music, filling the audiences hearts with an attitude of praise, we fell in love with Jesus all over again. As the atmosphere was set, you were assured that the Holy Spirit was in the building.With the resonating theme, "Summer Of Service" we were blessed by Pastor Latons message. A message that as Christians we are called to serve just as the perfect example, Jesus Christ, served willingly and lovingly.
